We’ve launched Goldenbox

We have just launched a neat campaign promoting Goldenbox, Pagini Aurii’s (Yellow Pages in Romania) search widget.

We gathered 5 of the most influential bloggers and offered them and their fans a chance to win a trip to China’s World Expo 2010.

All they have to do is get as many fans as they can to post a personalized widget, as a sign of their support.

Amber, accepted on Wordpress Themes Directory

Great news: Amber, the Wordpress theme behind this blog got accepted on Wordpress Themes Directory. Right now you can download it, install it and tweak it.

It gets even better: Amber was downloaded 22 times already, in less than 24 hours.

Kontain, by Fantasy Interactive

Kontain, the previous Propod, launched September the 19th as an platform for blogging, video and photo sharing.

You can preview the technology on Fantasy Interactive’s media blog. I signed up for an beta preview and hope to get a better review soon enough.

Until than I am still reserved regarding a Flash based blogging tool. The main reason is the flash text indexing problem we still know many search engine have.

Last but not least: I love the product presentation on Kontain.com.

Why “MyDaysOf .com”?

Why have I named this blog “MyDaysOf .com”?

Well, first of all I’ve searched and searched for “.com” domains until I got bored (about 30 minutes). I figured I should twist the name concept a little bit while still keeping it easy to remember. I figured it would be a little boring to copy concepts as “del.icio.us” or “ma.gnolia.com” but it would be interesting to use the “.com” as part of a sentence.

I figured the .com is an expression of Internet/Interactive growth which everybody recognizes. A new titan was born.

If you like the theme at least a little bit you should know I’ve designed and implemented myself (haven’t done this in a while and it certainly was fun). I will release an open version which you can download and use yourself in the next week, after I fix some issues.
