    The Dream

As a boy I remember I was dreaming, while watching Star Trek (I am a huge trekkie), of one day to “boldly go where no man has gone before”. I still have this dream.

Several months ago I’ve met some people that share the same dream. ARCA Space. These people dream of putting a man in space but first they will land a rover on the moon, as part of the Google X Prize.

    The Road to the Moon

They have already developed the cheapest space technology that may some day make the dream of space flight available to anyone. They have already developed the first eco-friendly rocket engine. They are the favourite team in the Google X Prize.

    The Problem

    But now, they need founding.

So we thought of offering everyone a different kind of trip to the moon.  We launched ARCALunar.com where you can send your personal information to the moon. Through a time capsule you can send photos, text, audio files and even videos. Send them to the moon and to future generations.

Your financial efforts will keep the ARCA Space program live and who knows – maybe some day make space flight as cheap as a low cost plane flight.

You can choose your space plan here.

When I was a little boy I used to watch a TV show staring a famous football player (I can’t remember his name right now). The guy would show some of his favorite moves, those tricky shots and a little training program all in 15 minutes.

It wasn’t much but it made me dream one day I could be a world famous soccer player. I didn’t quite make it but the memory remained.

I remembered this when I’ve found Nike Bootcamp on Creative Review. It seems AKQA outdone themselves with this new campaign for the Nike account.

The campaign features a training website, where trainings are made in collaboration with world class trainers, a social network where you can invite your friends to train with you, stats regarding your training and even a cool mobile application to take your training program with you wherever you go.

I have to say I love both the concept and implementation.

“Be the best pirate” they said… “See the world” they said… So I joined the pirate crew on the Internetics Quest.

What is this? The Internetics Quest is an interactive online game that dares you to “sail the seven seas” in search of clues on different sites. The quest changes nothing in the internet. The players surf online through text, images, videos and many many others to get the right password to finalize the miniquests.

But in the end there can be only one. The first one to solve all the riddles will be declared The Biggest Web Pirate and earn the big, big secret prize, hidden in a treasure chest on Web Island.

Yes, we like playful online campaigns.

Romanian blood donors are a rare breed. At least the stats say so as only 66% of blood transfusion needs are met.

We’ve teamed up with ReACT, a local nonprofit organization and tried proving otherwise. We strongly believe in our mission to offer more than just advertising to the world. My personal belief is that we can change it.
